In the atrium of the big private clinic, there is a mounted media sculpture that symbolizes cells in which life pulsates. The sculpture is made from the carcass in which the stainless steel particles are placed. Five lighting scenes were laid into the concept. The illumination is coherent with the biological rhythms of a human being. That’s why we developed the content made in colors that correspond with one or another time of the day and have a positive influence on the activity of body systems.
The object is a media sculpture for a big health clinic depicting a biological cell. In its base, there are carcass and particles from stainless steel similar to DNA’s threads. Due to lighting, the life is born and pulsing inside the cell. Five modes of illumination were created to work differently, depending on times of the day associated to the biorhythms of the human organism.
In the atrium of the big private clinic, there is a mounted media sculpture that symbolizes cells in which life pulsates. The sculpture is made from the carcass in which the stainless steel particles are placed. The material was chosen to be reflective and durable, so stainless steel with half-matted covering was decided upon. The sculpture is placed in the space of the atrium. On the opposite side, there are bridges that allow for perceiving it from different angles so the lighting was designed taking that factor into account. Five lighting scenes were laid into the concept. They were implemented using inner 16-channel and outer 12-channel lamps. Modules forming the sculpture are made from the sheets of stainless steel and curved into multiple planes, which allows them to reflect the light from different light sources and in different directions. The illumination is coherent with the biological rhythms of a human being. That’s why we developed the content made in colors that correspond with one or another time of the day and have a positive influence on the activity of body systems.
